A sensory journey with music, flavours, colours and perceptions awaits the visitors inside of the pavilion alongside illustrations of typical products of Colombia. Dealing with efficiency and sustainability, the Colombian pavilion also reflects the central theme of Expo 2015 in Milan of building balance between humans and nature.
In order to protect the environment, the single pieces of the pavilion were collected by Legnolandia in order to reduce time and resources for assembly and dismantling of the pavilion. The company Legnolandia has a hundred years of experience in designing and building wooden buildings.
There was no real reason for visiting the Colombia Pavilion however it was very interesting from the outside. The main reason why I felt disappointed was because we did spend lot of time queuing up to enter the pavilion. I did find the information provided very informative. However we then realised for most of the buildings there was very long queues.
